Description

Among the Slavic peoples tradition of weaving wreaths was extremely common. Girls decorated their heads with flowers. Also, they  dressed livestock with flowers, too.  Using this ancient tradition they were trying  to protect animals from the evil eye.

Cornflowers - small flowers with thin petals of blue color. They were personified with the purity and modesty of young  girl.

Wreath made of beads, sequins and felling on a metal basis, thanks to the external similarity, was given the name "Voloshki"
