Embroidery for women Frankivsk white

The women's embroidered shirt "Frankivska" celebrates Carpathian tradition. This embroidered shirt represents the unique style of the village of Hvizdets in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The white linen fabric is decorated with rich geometric and floral ornaments. Black and red colors predominate, creating an expressive contrast. Wide stripes of embroidery on the sleeves are characteristic. The ornament contains ancient symbols of protection and fertility. This embroidered shirt is a vivid example of Pokuttya embroidery.
